A careless word may kindle strife,
A cruel word may wreck a life,
A timely word may lessen stress,
A loving word may heal and bless.

More often than not, we are too harsh on ourselves. We belittle our own worth, we devalue what we believe in and we talk negatively about our own soul. The more we use these words though, the more they slowly stick to us and coat us like a thick wall of tar ~ and who wants that!
It's time you really understood that your words are powerful. Your thoughts are powerful. It's time to get gentle with them, especially when you are referring to yourself. The more you can be kind, supportive and encouraging to your own body and soul, the better you will feel. The better you feel the more love you will put out there in the world to yourself and others. This is not being boastful, self-centered or snobby. It's letting yourself feel the truth of your being and giving room for your spirit to soar.
