The next few DP's this week are in honor of the upcoming Nassau County Relay for Life on June 29th
God gave us memories that we might have roses in December.

Remember
It's easy to get caught up in our everyday lives and start to find that it can be a bit difficult to remember what the sound of his/her laugh was like or the quirks she/he had that could make you smile like no one else. Take some time today to remember those loved ones who have passed on; it is the best way to honor their life. Remember what you loved most about them. Remember what made you light up about them. Remember what they taught you and be grateful that you are not the same person because they touched your life so deeply. Remember the shenanigans the two of you got yourselves into. Remember the important conversations you had. Remember the words that meant so much to you when spoken. These memories honor these individuals in the greatest way one could ever honor someone. It's okay to remember them and it's okay to celebrate their life.
Today I remember two of my students that passed away to early. Both were so bright, young and were so full of life. They taught me to live each moment with no regrets, to be kind to everyone and above all, always have fun. Remembering their smiles and their spirit fills me with joy. Thank you for giving me that gift.
