Excuses
We all have a thousand and one reasons why we can't do something. Any of these sound familiar?
- I can't workout because my knee, shoulder, elbow, feet (you name it) hurts
- The gym is just too far from my house
- Eating healthy costs more money
- I'm just too tired to do anything when I get home
- My kids take up all of my time
- I ate a bad breakfast so I might as well continue on eating bad all day
- I can't go for a walk, my favorite show is on
- I'm just too busy to take time for me
- I can't find an exercise that I like to do, so I just don't
- But the food tastes sooo good
- I could never do that, I'm not smart enough
There are a host of other excuses as well but understand this ~ they are all just excuses of why you will not do something like eat better, take care of yourself, look for a better job, leave a bad relationship, move, start your own business, go back to school, etc, etc etc! Excuses hold you back from living your life. It's that simple. Stop living every single day full of excuses and start LIVING. There is nobody that holds you back except for YOU! You are the reason why you are not doing certain things, no one else. Use today to start to see what areas of your life you are making excuses and start making better choices to live up to your greatest potential. It's time to drop the fear (otherwise known as excuses) and live.
