Mistakes

We all make mistakes. Yes, all of us! Sometimes we choose something or someone that doesn't give us the results we were hoping or looking for. Sometimes our mistakes are easier to swallow then others. Sometimes our mistakes take some time to get past.

In every mistake we have made, it has brought us closer to knowing ourselves just a little bit better. In every mistake, we learned our limitations (or the lack thereof). In every mistake, we learned the true meaning of the word courage. In every mistake, we learned how to choose differently the next time. We also learned that nothing can break us down. Our mistakes can only build us up to be stronger than before.

Mistakes are not good or bad, they are ultimately life lessons that make us stronger and more certain with who we are and what we want out of life. So give yourself permission to learn from your mistakes rather than to beat yourself up over them!
