Family

Family can make you absolutely crazy. They can be exhausting, they can be forgiving, they can be there when nobody else is, they can test your patience, they can make you broke, they can make you rich, they can disappoint like no other, they can bring you joy that you never knew, they can hurt you more than anyone, but they can also love you unconditionally when nobody else wants to. Some run away from their families to find independence or to get sanity, others run to their families to find strength and hope. I never really understood all of this until I moved away from mine. I'm reminded every time I visit or spend time with them how lucky I truly am. Family is not only those we are related to by blood but those who become our family through love. Be thankful for whomever you consider family and be grateful for each and every moment you can share together.
