Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap
but by the seeds that you plant.
~Robert Louis Stevenson
When you plant a seed, it takes time to grow. You must nurture, water and take care of it along the way before you start to see it sprout above the foundation you created. Our lives are just like a garden. There is a time for everything and this is the time to have patience. You have planted a few seeds in your own life and are getting anxious over seeing growth happen right now. If you hurry along these seeds though, they will not be as strong and durable as you would have hoped for because you did not have the patience to let them take root below the surface. The stronger the foundation, from the beginning, the more likely that these seeds will flourish and blossom when they are meant to. For now, take a step back. Keep tenderly nurturing the seeds in your life that you have planted and have patience and faith that once they start to grow, nothing will be able to stop them. They might be even more beautiful then you could have ever imagined.
