Most of our days are spent trying to be heard. We speak over one another just to get our opinions out. Well today is different. Today is about listening. It's time to take a step back from talking and instead really hear what people around you are saying. You are not the only one with a good thought or brilliant idea. You are not the only one with a valid opinion. Everyone has something to say and something to contribute to this world. By not hearing them, you are not validating them as a person. It's time to stop talking and open up your ears as wide as you can. You just might be pleasantly surprised by what you can learn about someone as well as what you can learn about yourself along the way.
