Pain
In order to grow the most you must walk through the pain.  Walking through the part of your life that is the most difficult and no longer serving your highest self is the toughest work you will ever do but by far the most eye-opening and soul inspiring work that one can & should do.  Pain teaches us what we are made of.  It shows us the depths of our resolve and strength.  It swings open new possibilities once the old has been closed for good.  As the saying goes, pain is inevitable but suffering is not.  You can choose to look at pain as your greatest teacher and know that when the lesson is done, the pain will lift and be replaced by absolute peace.  Use your pain to grow you, not keep you in a state of torture - that's not what it is meant for.  Stop using excuses not to do the work to walk through the pain.  It is your time to become the master of your sea.

Today we awake to a brand new year.  We are starring at a brand new slate ... or are we?  How many of us awoke and already decided to pick up the past and hurl it onto our shoulders? How many of us already ran out of patience or spoke to someone who made us upset or even ate something we knew would not make us feel great? That's the thing about a brand new year, it is wide open for us to design, to create and to manifest but we have to be willing, no we MUST make a decision to no longer allow ourselves to do the same old thing but expect a miraculous change. It's time to make courageous decisions in order to create the greatest positive impact on our lives. Did you know...

Until We Meet Again
Losing someone you love is never easy. It's one of the hardest things we experience in this lifetime. We yearn to hear their voice one more time, to feel their arms wrapped around us hugging us, and to see their smile when we walk into the room.  We want just one more moment to tell them we love them, to let them know they were everything to us, and to make sure they felt the love we have for them...but what if they still do?

Instead of yearning for a last moment maybe we need to recognize all of the precious and cherished moments we did have. The meaningful conversations, they belly laughs over silly things, and the endless story telling of crazy family moments meant something then and they still mean something now. Although we thought we were saying goodbye, maybe what we are really saying is I'll now carry you around with me forever and until we meet again...

Does it make it less painful? No
Does it take the hurt away? No
Will it replace hearing and seeing that person? No

But it will give you a deeper understanding that everyone is energy ~ and energy never dies. It just changes form and so will all of us one day. So hold on to the memories, celebrate the love that is still there and walk forward knowing that no matter what you do, where you go, and who you meet ~ your loved ones are along for the ride with you every step of the way.
