Competition

Competition

In life, people will feel that they are in competition with you even when you are not in the race. People who lack self worthiness in themselves see other's as a threat and will act accordingly.  Instead of building up someone, they will belittle them and make them question their own talents and abilities.

We are not here to be competitors. We are here to lift up ourselves and others as well. We are here to build community and connection and you can't do that if you view everyone else as your competitor. Life is full of abundance and just because someone has something or obtains something does not mean someone else goes without. That is scarcity thinking and there's no place for that if you want to reach your own potential and help other's reach theirs as well.

There is room for all of us. Remember that and if you find yourself in a space being viewed as the competition and trying to be edged out, find another space that's worthy of your greatest.

Filter

Filter

As we age our filter seems to get less and less. Why is that? Well it could be because we've lived long enough to realize we do not need to tolerate BS anymore. We do not have time for excuses or fluff or anything in between. We are looking for real and authentic friendships, relationships, experiences and connections. We've learned this lesson through loss and the realization that all of the other "stuff" doesn't really matter. What matters is someone's character, honesty, and real connections. The lesson in this though, is that sometimes the "fluff" experiences and relationships were only at that level because that's where we kept them. We didn't try to go deeper. We weren't vulnerable enough and someone else's BS meter went off and we were filtered out. Take this new found feeling of wanting life to be authentic and infuse it in every aspect of your life from relationships, to friendships, to work. See how things become more clear, more real, and more meaningful once you realize your filter is more than just that - it's also your door to vulnerability.
